What is the cost to join?
PTA membership dues for the 2026-27 school year are $15 for a parent/guardian or $25 for a family. Our membership dues support the operating costs of the PTA, but most importantly, provide funding for student enrichment activities.
How often does the PTA meet?
The PTA meets monthly during the school year.
What does our PTA do?
Thanks to the time and generosity of our many parents, the PTA has been able to serve the DKFI community in many ways, including:

- Activities -- Engagement activities and events for students and families
- Communication — Helping to keep families informed and involved in their children's education
- Fundraising — Raising funds to support school and PTA initiatives
- Support — Network of parents and guardians to provide support and answer questions
- Teacher Appreciation — Supporting staff with special events and fulfilling requests for needed items
