Dear Parents, Attached, please find the summer reading book review assignment for Mrs. Leighty's R/ELA students. The documents include an explanation of the book review requirements, sample student book reviews, and the Prince George's County Library System's suggested book list for middle school students. Your children may choose any book you feel is appropriate. I will be using the book reviews to place students in their first book clubs next year. Feel free to email me now or in the summer if you have questions: [email protected], Yours, Martha Leighty
The Immersion Program Office has shared a number of resources with us (see below). Here is our distance learning updates newsletter for March. It addresses issues with Zoom, the school's concerns with student adherence to code of conduct guidelines while online, and some Covid 19 information links for parents.
Mr. Cunningham has updated his website with information on transitioning to online music learning. This site can be accessed here. On the site, there are links to each grade level and two informational videos that are also posted here. Mr. Cunningham has asked that they are watched in order. First this one: And then this one, which shows you how to log into Quaver. Greetings DKFI Families and welcome to our Keep DKFI Learning page!
We are using this space to post information from our teachers and PGCPS. First up are some resources from Mr. Held. Hope everyone is healthy and doing okay!
